Interactive Surface Modeling (ISM) uses advanced surface mathematics toprovide straightforward, easy-to-use surface modeling, mapping, andanalysis capabilities. The surface modeling process uses input x, y, zdata from existing computer files, or captured from maps using theDigitizer Option to ISM. ISM produces a range of high-quality graphicdisplays and plots based on the calculated surface models (grids).Powerful, interactive graphic editors allow quick changes ofinterpretation and incorporation of new data. Analytical capabilitiesinclude mathematical surface manipulation and volume calculations.ISM displays data as:

Base and contour maps.
Mesh and/or raised contour perspectives.
Cross-sections.
